KENDRICK WINS STATE SKILLSUSA AWARDS

Twenty-one students from the Kendrick SkillsUSA chapter won 13 medals at
the SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership and Skills Conference. The conference
was held in Atlanta, April 24-26. For the 13th year in a row, Kendrick
has qualified to compete at the National SkillsUSA competition.

First Place, Job Skill Demonstration A: Jarrett Williams
First Place, Community Service: LeArmie James, Melody Johnson, Tiera Farley
First Place, Tech Prep Showcase-Arts and Communication: Laketa Lewis, Ashley
Jackson, and Jelisa Bass
The chapter won second place in Superior Chapter and second place in
Chapter Publicity.
