KENDRICK WINS STATE SKILLSUSA AWARDS
Twenty-one students from the Kendrick SkillsUSA chapter won 13 medals at
the SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership and Skills Conference. The conference
was held in Atlanta, April 24-26. For the 13th year in a row, Kendrick
has qualified to compete at the National SkillsUSA competition.

First Place, Community Service: LeArmie James, Melody Johnson, Tiera Farley
First Place, Tech Prep Showcase-Arts and Communication: Laketa Lewis, Ashley
Jackson, and Jelisa Bass
The chapter won second place in Superior Chapter and second place in
Chapter Publicity.

Laketa Lewis was elected to serve as State Reporter, and Melody Johnson
was elected to serve as State North Region Vice President for SkillsUSA
