FOREIGN LANGUAGE FAIR
The Columbus State University Foreign Language Fair Competition will be
held Saturday, March 29, 2008, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Davidson
Student Center. Foreign language students from middle schools and high
schools (public and private schools) in Muscogee County will participate.
Students will compete in vocabulary, written/oral poetry, food, music,
and projects in Spanish, French, German, Latin, Japanese, and Chinese
languages. An awards ceremony will follow all competitions announcing first,
second, and third places in each language and category.
The coordinator, Jennifer Robinson says, “We have held this event for
nearly 30 years in Columbus and it is a great way for our students to
showcase their talents and knowledge learned with their peers.”
