 “Delivering on the
Promise” describes our statement of commitment guiding the MCSD
technology program. We are honoring the intent of voters’
support for technology in the 2003 SPLOST. To that
end, 100% of the funds allocated for technology have been used to provide
instructional resources for students.
Preparing students
for future success means that technology must play an integral
part in K-12 education. SPLOST funds provide support to help our
students realize the potential of a technology-enriched
education. Displayed below are examples of programs that focus
on helping students achieve 21st Century skill sets such as
digital-age literacy, inventive thinking, effective
communication, and high productivity.
MCSD realizes it
takes a community to educate our children. We intend to continue
Delivering on the Promise we made to you--our voters,
supporters, and partners. We invite you to visit this site again
and read about additional programs designed to prepare all
students for successful futures.
