| This is a 190-day position. Salary is based on the GA teacher salary schedule. Major duties of this position include coordinating a school's staff development, facilitating on-site professional development sessions, serving as a member of the school's design/management team, providing model lessons for teachers, assisting teachers in securing resources for carrying out school improvement plans, monitoring teaching practices, and facilitating continuous assessment of student progress. The applicant should have a working knowledge of child growth and development, and be knowledgeable of current effective teaching practices, the principles of data-driven decision-making, and Georgia Performance Standards. This position requires a current Georgia (T-5 or above) teaching certification and a minimum of three years successful teaching experience in an elementary school.
