| Salary grade 21 - Pay $38,960 - $48,700. 240-day position. This position reports to the Director of Plant Services. Be responsible for the various energy systems throughout the school district. Analyze current energy usage and developing the district’s energy management plan in order to provide proper environmental conditions with cost effective energy utilization. The Energy Manager will be responsible for the district’s HVAC control and energy tracking computer system. A Bachelor degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, engineering technology, Management, Accounting or other related field with three (3) years of related experience. The ability to manage budget and personnel. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong use of Microsoft Word and Excel experience. Previous experience in work order, preventative maintenance system and other maintenance contracts also desired. Supervise staff assigned in the area of energy management. Extensive in-house district travel (minimum 50%) with periods of exposure to conditions in mechanical/boiler rooms, ceilings, roofs and under floor areas.
