“Above and Beyond the Call of Duty”

Bobby R. Shackelford has been named the ABCD Award Winner for December.  He is pictured above (left) at the December Board meeting with Donald Cooper, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources.  Shackelford is a building mechanic as Shaw High School and is much more than a “fixer” of things; He is an extremely capable repairman who gets the job done right and leaves you with a funny joke and a smile on your face. Even in the face of adversity, he has kept his spirit as well as others during the difficulties of renovation. He is very helpful in setting up classrooms and offices, from moving large pieces of furniture to hanging bulletin boards, projector screens, clocks and pencil sharpeners. He is always there to lend a helping hand.
