The 2008
Best Practices Institute, sponsored by the MCSD Professional Learning
Department, will take place June 2-5 at Columbus State University. The
conference will kick off Monday with a keynote address by Larry Bell.
Barbara Pederson will speak at the closing session Thursday.
The opening and closing presentations will be in the Fine Arts Hall
of Columbus State University. Other sessions will be in the
Cunningham Center. MCSD buses will provide transportation to/from
parking lots and meeting locations.
Breakfasts, lunches, and snacks will be provided each day to
registered participants.

On-site registration will be available at the
Cunningham Center throughout the event.

The conference is free to teachers and
paraprofessionals in MCSD schools and the following area private
schools: Calvary Christian, Our Lady of
Lourdes, and St. Luke.

PLU Credit
Participants must complete the sessions, complete an
Attendance Verification Sheet for appropriate number of PLUs
attempted, and complete an Implementation Plan, which is due in
Professional Learning Department no later than June 20.
