The purposes of the meeting will be for the Board to

• Interview and take action on Executive Search Firms
• Go into Executive Session in accordance with §50-14-3(6), if necessary to discuss issues pertaining to the appointment, employment, compensation, or hiring of the next superintendent;
• Conduct any other necessary school business;

The agenda for the current Board meeting will be posted on BoardDocs
on the Friday before the regular board meeting.

Board Chair James Walker does not chair a committee. Board Vice-Chair Dr. Phillip Schley is a substitute chair. Member-at-Large Cathy Williams does not chair a committee.

**Change in scheduling pattern

The regular meeting of The Board of Education is scheduled for the third Monday of each month unless re-scheduled due to a holiday.  Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held in the Bradley Library Conference Room, 1120 Bradley Drive.  For additional information about any Board meeting, contact Karen Jones (706-748-2018 or kpjones@mcsdga.net).

The regular Board meetings are broadcast on CCGTV (Columbus Consolidated Government Television) at 3:00 pm and 11:00 pm for two weeks, beginning the day after the meeting. CCGTV is carried on Knology - Channel 17 Mediacom - Channel 21 Charter - Channel 3
